Whitman College’s State of the State for Washington Latinos project, created by Professor Paul Apostolidis as a politics seminar, has been awarded a Learn & Serve America innovation grant.
Whitman student focus on voting rights and political mobilization in this report. Field research in eastern and central Washington brought students directly into communities where large Latino populations find themselves underrepresented in local political institutions.
